
Coronation College's Heritage Centre records the history of schooling on the site for over half a century!
The earliest buildings were erected in 1951, and the Lae Primary School commenced classes shortly afterwards. The buildings have accomodated continuous classes, from the original school, to the change to the Lae Primary A School in the 1960's, to the Lae International Primary School [LIPS] from the 1970's, and finally to Coronation International Primary School in 1992, and finally expanding into the Coronation College we know today.
